Daisy's Christmas in her forever home

Hello!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!!!  I just wanted to send you some pictures of Daisy, better known as Freckles.  We picked her up in Quakertown on December 18th.  She is the SWEETEST dog ever.
She has a large back yard in the country on a lake.  She also has a big brother and we have to look twice to make sure we are talking to the right dog.   They both have white up to their knee on their right paw and white on their chest.  Daisy is about 30 to 35 lbs smaller than her brother Diesel.  Can’t wait until summer to take her swimming in the lake!

She is super smart and loves everyone that has come to visit.  She also loves the couch!!!  As you can see in the pictures, Santa Paws left her some great gifts for Christmas.  We could not get her to stand still long enough to pose in front of the tree, but her brother did!!!!  Daisy has the bow on her head.

Thank you for all that you do for these animals!!!!

Laddie in his forever home

Hi!

As predicted, Laddie was a big hit with the girls. He was as sweet as pie with them.

After taking the girls back to Dover today, we gave Laddie the run of the downstairs for over an hour. He played with Koko, played with toys and spent some time on the loveseat. He showed no inclination to mark. I think he's getting used to life in the Wilmington suburbs.

Thank you for this wonderful treasure.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM LESTER HAPPY IN HIS FOREVER HOME

Merry Christmas everyone.   I’m enjoying life here in the Pocono mountains of Northeast PA.   My development is so quiet with lots of trees it reminds me of home.  There are plenty of roads for my daily walks and I see so many animals.  There is not one person who meets me that doesn’t love me but then what’s not to love.  I am a true southern gentleman.  Not a day goes by that my Mom & Dad don’t tell someone where I came from and that I’m here because of some very wonderful people.
My day begins early.  I go out quick then come back in and play with my toys.  After a light breakfast we are out for our long walk.  The weather is changing here and on Thanksgiving we had our first snow and I loved it.  I also had the chance to wear my new fleece lined waterproof coat.  My Mom and Dad bought me a nice bed but I prefer the couch downstairs or to jump into bed with them.  It took awhile to warm up to my new sister Candy in the beginning but we are now good friends.  I give my Mom a hard time when she tries to take pictures of me.  I pose for her and then as soon as she snaps it I move and ruin the picture.  Luckily the picture posted here was taken by my Uncle Joe.
I went for my checkup two days after arriving here and was heartworm free and in great health.  We found out I was shot with a BB gun.  I have been through so much in my short life.  I still run when I hear the fly swatter, and bark and lunge after trucks and vans because I was probably dumped from one of them, but am so much better and happy now and realize I don’t have to worry anymore because of you.  I want people to know the dogs you save are healthy and highly adoptable and deserve a second chance.  Most shelter dogs are there through no fault of their own.  Puppies are the best, but if people would take a chance on a grown dog they won’t be sorry.  The most beautiful dogs are rescued by Crossing Paths/Save A Pet.
I have to go it’s almost dinnertime.  I know Angels walk the earth.  The people who pull us from the shelter, all the workers and foster Moms, the people who make it possible for us to come up north, and the drivers of the big white Transport truck pulling into the parking lot halfway across the country carrying dogs ready to meet their new families.  Families who would not have known the joy of having these beautiful dogs in their life because they would not be here.  But the Angels changed all that for me and for so many others, and for this I am truly grateful and will never ever forget you. God Bless you all.

Your Friend Always,
Lester

HE GOT WHERE HE WAS GOING...

Your pictures and fotos in a slideshow on MySpace, eBay, Facebook or your website!view all pictures of this slideshowHi, Sorry it took so long but I'm so busy with my new baby and his
sister Minnie.  These photos say it all.  We couldn't be more in love
with Mickey and he in love with us.  As anyone can see, he is so
beautiful and what a wonderful, loving, playful personality.  He is
more than anyone could ever imagine.  Everyone asks where we got him
and what breed or mix he is.  Like us, they are taken by how adorable
he is.  He loves to be held and cuddled and gives tons of kisses, but
yet can play with the best of them.  He really cheered up Minnie.
They have a ball together every day.  He should really be the poster
boy for rescue dogs.  God Bless you Mary Ellen.  I would never have
found him without you and all your efforts.  You can rest assured he
is a very, very happy little boy and so are we.  I have hundreds of
photos, he is so cute all the time.  I'll keep sending and updating.
  Take care, Gail
PS  I never thought I could be this happy again after losing my
beloved J.R., but Mickey did it!
