Celena in her new home.

(Lisa and John are with Semper Fi Rescue and works with CrossingPaths with transport)

Hi Lisa & John,

Selena has had a big weekend! She is doing great and adjusted well to her new home. Attached are some pictures. Sara has decided that we will continue to call her Selena as she is used to the name but is changing the spelling a bit to make it "her own"- Celina.

She slept most of the way home in the backseat with Sara - inching closer and closer until she finally had her head practically behind Sara's back. The initial meeting with "Auntie" Luna was a little tense on Sat. but by day two all is well and they are starting to play. She has enjoyed running about in our big yard and exploring with the girls. We haven't taken her on a tour of the whole farm yet just the yard area for now. She has only had a couple pee accidents in the house and we have been taking her out every time she wakes from a nap or after eating, playing so she is starting to get it. She spends time in her crate at night (with me on the couch for company and potty runs) and a bit during the day when we need a break but for the most part has the run of the downstairs and today found the a.c. vent in the hallway:) When that girl sleeps she really sleeps but she has also shown us her devilish/playful side as well. LOL

Hope you had a good trip home. You are such a wonderful couple to rescue these animals in need and relocate them to new homes. It was amazing to see all the wonderful pets that you had on your vehicle and the loving families that were there to adopt them. Thank you so much for all you do! Please know that Selena will have a loving home for life. We will send pics to update you as she grows.

Warm regards.
Patti Murphy

P.S. Thanks for the "extras" - collar and food. She looks so cute in her ladybug collar.
