Dear Pat...................well, here he is!!!!! We picked him up on May 21st..(1st two pictures are his first days with us...64 lbs) The next pictures are him presently at 74 lbs).................Needless to say, he has us wrapped around his long tail!!! He is just becoming house trained!!!! I had to take up my area rugs because he was going on them, and rather him being scolded from us, it was easier just to remove them............I am getting use to not having them and now will wait until the winter to put them back! Bud put a long rope from our deck so he can do his business......but before that he was going all over the lawn and my neighbors.........now its much easier Bud use to take such pride in our lawn, but now has the attitude (who cares, as long as we water where he goes, you can see from the pictures, that really works!).............Rusty sleeps in his crate at night and during the night he wines to get out, Bud walks him and of course then brings him in our bed (Rusty is really smart, because its getting earlier and earlier and now its 2:30 am and he is in our bed!! When ever he is close to us, he always has to have a paw on us and then falls asleep. He is just a sweetheart.....he barks only when he thinks he should and that is not often................he loves the water and has a swim at least 2 times a day and then gets a shower in our outdoor shower, which he loves and stays so still!!! Everyone loves him and even the Fed Ex guy leaves him a dog biscuit on our package when he delivers it!! We have rented a small cabin in Maine in the beginning of Sept. that is right on a lake and we plan to take him.........of course, I won't be able to go antiquing that much!!! Every morning Bud drives him to a back of a school and lets him run! He will be 10 months at the end of this month!! He is up to snuff with his shots and he is so good when the Vet cuts his nails (thats unbelievable!) My Grandson got me a magnet plaque with a big paw mark and it says "WHO RESUED WHO?" FOR THE BACK OF MY CAR.. I got Bud one for Father's day from Rusty!! Well, Pat I just wanted you to see how Rusty has grown, you are often in my thoughts and we appreciate everything you have done..........Bud says, " a house is not a home without a dog!" Fondly, Sandie
