Precious Sammy has his forever home.Angels are smiling.

This story is what it is all about. The end of the journey for a precious little dog that has found someone to love him forever and this is what she wrote about Sammy to President of CrossingPaths:

Hi Mary Ellen,

I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how our sweet, beautiful Sammy/Roger is doing. I hope you don't mind but we renamed him Sammy because we felt it just fit him. We adopted him from you last January.

Sammy is my love. He is so good and happy. Smart, too! After all the snow melted here late last February, Sammy got to actually play in his big huge backyard. It only took us a week to train him on the invisible fence. I was scared to let him go that first time but he ran and he ran around the perimeter and never once tried to escape. He loves his yard and he loves Alice our ACD. I enrolled him in a basic canine training class this past late spring. He still has issues with his shyness around over people so I had hoped this would help him. He did really well developing good walking and obedience skills - 4th place! He still can't seem to adjust to other people but we don't care. Maybe some day he'll trust others, but that is up to him.

I hope you take this as a feel-good note to let you know what a wonderful job you and your volunteers do to make just one animal as happy as our Sammy is. He is our joy and there is a reason God pointed me in the right direction when I found Crossing Paths Animal Rescue. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Bless you and all,
Jackie and John Markham
Sammy and Alice, too!
