Hi Mary Ellen,
My name is Jeff Anton. I adopted Sara the Dachshund from Crossing Paths about 8 months ago and I just wanted to let you know how we are doing. My blood pressure has never been higher, my stress level is over the normal average, but I am overwhelmed with happiness. Sara is exactly what you would expect from a 10 month old puppy, full of energy, affection, and innocence. She is now completely potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained. Sara is my first adopted dog so I do not have much to compare to, but my experience with Crossing Paths was flawless and reassuring. I live in Philadelphia and to adopt a dog from the south (which to my understanding has a major overpopulation of dogs) I had my worries. I met the drivers of the transportation company who were upset to see me, not because they were tired or grumpy, but because they cared so much about my dog that they could hardly part with her. People who adopt animals obviously care about animals, so to know that the people who handle your pets care about your pets as much as you do is incredibly impressive. I’m not sure if you are aware, but this winter we had over 60 inches of snow, so you would assume a puppy from the south would have trouble, but Sara pranced around the snow like she was an Alaskan husky. This summer we have already had 90+ degree days, but Sara walks proudly with her tongue hanging out of her mouth. She has been spayed and is 100% up to date with her shots, the only problem we had was a short stint of tape worm which was quickly dealt with. I plan on adopting a sibling for Sara shortly and Crossing Paths will be my first and only stop.
Thank You,
Jeff Anton
